I have a newfound respect for one of our hardest working team members from the Hawaiian 105 KINE Ohana; our Chief Engineer Cris Caughill!  Yesterday he was involved in a mishap involving a helicopter crash that occured yesterday near the Wiliwilinui Ridge Transmitter site above Hawai'i Kai and Waimanalo.

Cris is the goto guy whenever anything breaks down in studio, we call.  Hawn Electric something or other happens, he's the one we call.  He sticks his hands into places I KNOW I would get my a$% shocked severly, saves us whenever we have problems and is our calm technical voice within the storm when things happen.  We're glad you're ok and injury free Cris!  You can see a picture of the helicopter from the morning newspaper.

Last night was awesome...was doing my usual (Game Day Activities Coordinator) duties at the SSCenter.  Congrats as UH beat LA Tech 65-64 with 8.1 seconds left.  Awesome job done by our Rainbow Warrior Basketball team who now have to hit the road to go play in Idaho and Boise.

Quiet week now...at least until Thursday.  That's when the Outrigger Hotels Volleyball Invitational kicks in at the SSCenter.  Then I'll have Thurs Fri and Sat night games this week *whew* right in the thick of it all....I'm going to go get some sleep now.....
